Q: Which distribution to choose? A: The distributions are created in this way in order to provide different flexibility to different kinds of people. If you wish to make you project Imagen-powered and don't want to take part in development, or fine-tune Imagen so it better suits your needs; debug some complex problems, or install it on a platform different from a support one - just download the executables. If you wish to explore the full potential of open source (you are probably a web enthusiast) you can choose between two source-level versions. The version with lib makes it possible to avoid a lot of problems while building with different version of Libraries (every time a new version of required libraries comes out, we spend days, sometimes weeks to fix the building enviroment to support this version. This especially applies to Windows distribution and to ImageMagick)
Q: What do you need in order to run Imagen? A: Not too much - A good server (Linux or WinNT/2K based), min 64Mb RAM (recommended 128, if you run other applications) and 10Mb free disk space.
